Karan is our Area Manager and brings an incredible 28 years of experience in childcare, ten of which have been with Bear and Bunny. She joined us from the very beginning, standing proudly with us on the day we first opened our doors - an exciting (and slightly nerve-wracking!) milestone.
Over the years, Karan has guided the team with dedication and expertise, helping Bear and Bunny grow into the wonderful nursery we are today. Now as Area Manager, her role remains as dynamic and rewarding as ever.
Karan says ‘It's truly special to see a child grow, from those first steps and words to becoming confident and independent - ready for their next step into ‘big’ school’.
Karan holds an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and a Diploma in Leadership and Management.
As a parent of three grown children, she brings both professional and personal insight into childcare.
Outside of work, Karan loves exploring the countryside and coastal walks with her dog, or discovering new countries around the world. She also cherishes time spent with her three grown children and friends, enjoying dinners and drinks.

Terri is our Manager at The Farmhouse, home to our babies and toddlers. She joined Bear and Bunny in 2020 from another nursery where she was Manager - and although she originally applied for a Practitioner role, it was clear from day one that she brought a wealth of knowledge and fresh ideas.
Her enthusiasm and leadership saw her quickly progress from Practitioner to Room Lead, then Deputy Manager and most recently, Manager in April 2025.
Terri says “ Every child truly is unique. Working with children teaches us patience, understanding, empathy and compassion. Being able to show children how to be strong, independent, proud and resilient, is only a very small part of the role we play in helping a child achieve their full potential.
Tea parties with Elephants whilst singing a nursery rhyme is enough to brighten anyone's day”
With three grown children of her own, Terri is passionate about supporting her team’s growth and confidence, sharing her experience and guidance every step of the way.
In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her grandson and taking long walks with her husband and their puppy.

Liz is our Deputy Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead at The Farmhouse and brings an impressive 29 years of experience in childcare and management. She holds the original (and, dare we say best) NNEB qualification - National Nursery Examination Board (CACHE Diploma).
Her extensive background provides invaluable understanding of children’s behaviour and development across all ages. Having previously managed a Forest School, Liz is helping to embed this ethos throughout our baby and toddler suites.
Liz says 'I love that every day is different, working as part of a team to build relationships and witness the growth and milestones that each child achieves’.
Liz has recently achieved an FAQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health: Workplace Responder and is looking forward to implementing a wellbeing program for our staff within the Farmhouse.
As a mother of three grown children who now have families of their own, Liz’s professional expertise is beautifully complemented by her personal experience of parenthood.

Chelsea is our Manager at Crangal Cottage and discovered her passion for early years education back in 2010 while working at a nursery in the very same building we occupy today. It was there that she gained her Level 3 in Childcare before setting off to travel the world and explore how different countries approach early education.
We were delighted when Chelsea returned home in 2017 and joined us as a Team Leader in our Preschool, bringing with her a wealth of global experience. Her dedication and commitment shone through, leading to her promotion to Deputy Manager in May 2021.
During this time we proudly supported her in completing her BA (Hons) in Early Years Childhood at Chichester University, deepening her understanding of early education. In her own words, “my commitment to positively impacting children’s lives has deepened, and I truly value the incredible support network that helps me excel in my role as Manager.”
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys country walks, keeping active at the gym and spending quality time with family and friends - whether out exploring or sharing a meal together.

Heather is our Deputy Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Crangal Cottage, working with our preschool children. With an impressive 38 years of experience in childcare, we were thrilled to welcome her to Bear and Bunny in 2022.
She holds a Certificate of Education from the Open University and a Level 4 in Early Years and Education. Heather also brings extensive experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN), having previously worked as a SENCo.
Passionate about supporting both children and staff, Heather has achieved an FAQ Level 2 Award in Mental Health: Workplace Responder.
She has introduced creative initiatives to nurture wellbeing across the team - from monthly tea and chat sessions to thoughtful gestures that lift spirits.
Heather is a proud mum to two adult sons and in her spare time enjoys time with family and friends, visiting the theatre, crafting and reading.

Helen loves seeing the children grow, develop and achieve new milestones - something she finds incredibly rewarding.

Danielle is our Deputy Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Charlwood Village Preschool. With 18 years of experience in childcare, she has worked with children aged 3 months to 17 years across a range of settings including special needs and nannying.
Danielle is deeply passionate about helping children learn, progress and build essential life skills. She says, “I really enjoy setting up activities for children to engage in, especially creative ones.”
A mum to a four-year-old boy, Danielle values seeing childcare from both professional and parental perspectives. She explains, “being a parent has given me a new understanding - I can see things through a family’s eyes which helps me in my role. I love my job; it’s incredibly rewarding and every day and every child is different.”
In her free time, Danielle enjoys family walks, days by the seaside and high-adrenaline activities such as abseiling, rock climbing and zip wires.
