Meet The Senior Team
Karan Barlow
Karan is our Manager and she brings with her over 18 years of experience. She has an NVQ level 3 in Childcare & Education, and has completed her ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management.
With three grown up children of her own she has an all round knowledge of childcare through all stages. A dedicated leader, she spends her spare time studying, shopping and going to the cinema.
Gemma Standen
Gemma is our Deputy Manager at Crangal Cottage and brings 16 years of experience with her. She also has her NVQ level 3 in Childcare & Education and once settled fully in the role she will continue her formal education.
Gemma enjoys spending time with her family, socialising with friends and being sporty.
Shirley Williams
Shirley is our deputy manager at The Farmhouse - she joined us with an incredible 30 years experience - what more could you ask for? Having risen in the ranks to Manager - in 2015 she decided to take a step back and retire, upon hearing this we convinced her that she should come and be our "bank" member of staff. We were thrilled to have such a wealth of knowledge to us. Her passion was reignited and we couldn't believe our luck when she said yes to becoming a permanent member of the team.
Lizzy Daly
Lizzy is the owner and founder of Bear and Bunny.
She brings over 20 years of business experience with her. Having only had experience of nurseries as an end user she has surrounded herself with the best and most experienced staff.
Her biggest praise for the nursery is sending her own children there.
